This morning, a Spring breeze caresses my face as I step outdoors. Just now a thump striking the window. I imagine a bird seeing through to the other side did not know that an invisible wall would interrupt her flight. The interruptions of my plans so often seem like this, unseen, unexpected, a thud in the flow of my forward flying mind. I look out on the deck and see no bird body, a sigh of relief. How sad that my view can cause harm…
